1.
AMA District 7 (“D7”) and MDRA will work together in an effort to
coordinate their respective 2006 Championship events to avoid overlapping
Championship race dates. This effort
will not prevent non-championship events from being sanctioned on the same day
but an effort will be made to maximize distance between them. If unavoidable, District 7 & MDRA will
try to schedule against events that are more than 75 air miles apart.
2. MDRA agrees to open its series to Budds Creek if Jon Beasley wishes to participate.
3.
D7 and MDRA agree that the six (6) satellite tracks (Mountaineer,
Tomahawk, Doublin Gap, Happy Ramblers, Blue Diamond & The Landing shall be
encouraged to resume participation in AMA District 7 for the 2006 season.
4.
D7 and MDRA will work together to “raise the bar” on the quality of
motocross events throughout the geographical area possibly through a mentoring
or Apprenticeship program.
5.
D7 will work with actively engaged clubs that support D7 to continue
their participation in the Gold Series.
6.
D7 will discontinue the “entitlement” for clubs/promoters to hold Gold
Series Races.
7.
Only motocross events sanctioned with D7, which require only an AMA
& D7 card, will appear on the official District 7 schedule.
